We had been to Venice multiple times before this trip but we never spent the night and we always talked about how cool it would be to be able to wake up in one of the most famous cities in the world! So as soon as Italy opened back up for travel we took the train into Venice and stayed for 2 nights!! Just a short, perfect little getaway! It was still so empty as tourists were not allowed into Italy yet! It was so nice to see everything without all of the crowds and the heat! Every time I go to Venice I fall more in love with its uniqueness! This was also the first time we actually went into St. Marks! It was really neat to see the square from the balcony of the church! Elliott and I had been on a Gondola ride before when I shot a couples session, but this was the first time we've been on one for us! And as a whole family! The girls absolutely LOVED being in the Gondola! It's definitely a must when you visit this city!
