On Fathers Day weekend we decided to take a little day trip to one of Venice's beautiful islands, Burano! It was kind of a long trek to get there, but worth it. We drove to the Sacile train station, took the train to Venice, and then got on a boat taxi to Murano (another island of Venice that is known for it's blown glass) and then had to switch boats to finally arrive in Burano! All together it probably took about 2.5-3 hours to actually get to the island. Once we were there we were blown away by how colorful it was! We roamed the streets, grabbed some lunch, took lots of photos and ended our time there with some Gelato. It was a gorgeous day and we had a lot of fun! If you're coming to Italy, I'd definitely recommend visiting this beautiful little island!
